Julia Kintsch, Owner/Conservation Ecologist
Certified Ecologist, Ecological Society of America
Julia is a conservation ecologist with over 10 years of experience in applied ecology and conservation planning. Her work focuses on the development of practical and effective science-based solutions to mitigate humanity’s impacts on natural systems. Prior to founding ECO-resolutions, LLC, Julia was the program director for the Southern Rockies Ecosystem Project from 2003-2008. Her experiences include conducting botanic and small mammal surveys, working as an environmental educator in Senegal, West Africa as a Peace Corps Volunteer, and developing conservation plans for the Michigan Chapter of The Nature Conservancy. She has extensive experience in developing guidelines and recommendations for designing appropriate mitigation measures for wildlife, and has collaborated with planners, project engineers and traffic safety personnel in the development of such measures. Her work has involved extensive collaboration with federal and state agencies, local municipalities, and non-profit organizations, and she brings a creative and resourceful approach to natural resource decision-making.
